ADD "Hello Shorty" ON YOUR PAGE! Riamz was born in Danville, Virginia and began writing/rapping/producing at the age of 15. Just one year later, he performed his first show and was featured on 102 jamz Freestyle Friday numerous times. When he was 17 he joined a local rap group, SteetSquad, and began recording and producing mixtapes. The release of "G.O.D.S. - Greatest of Da'Ville Streets", received a lot of buzz around southside Virginia, and earned them a lot of respect from other local artists. In 2003, Riamz moved to Brooklyn, NY to pursue music full time. He began working with Real Records immediately and was quickly featured on Mixtapes that circulated all over NYC. His first single, "Childhood Explosion", received a lot of positive reviews. Riamz has contiued to record and perform, but he took a big hit in late 2006. On November 3rd, his Mother passed away and it opened his eyes to what he had to do. He knew he needed to take his talent to a new level, so he moved to Los Angeles in November, 2006. It is here that he now records music and slowly making a name for himself, working with many different artists and continuing to stay strong and focused. He is currently working on mixtapes, a solo album and also a collaboration album with his brother, Wood.
