I love reading such books by Tozer, Verwer, Perkins, Murray, MacDonald, and Lewis, these were all great men of God. I also love reading poetry and true adventure books. Here are some good ones: Into Thin Air, Touching the Void, True Grit, Cost of Discipleship, Hunger for Reality, Out of Your Comfort Zone, Interviewing Icons, "Trees, Roots, and Growing Things," Racial Reconciliation, Love and Balance, The Pursuit of God, The Wise Woman, At the Back of the North Wind, The Great Divorce, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings, etc.
My list would include not only my parents for their steadfast devotion to each other and to their God, my godly fiance Julie, but also such greats like Mother Teresa, Glenn Kaiser, George Verwer, John Perkins, A. W. Tozer, Chief Joseph, and my family in Chicago (JPUSA).
