Co-Owner of Double1Records and also producer and artists. Sam Roy is an Emcee with a lot to say and alot to accomplish. At age 22 he started his label and band with a few of his military friends. Together they produce, manage, and cultivate the new age of HIP HOP MUSIC.Sam started making music at an early age. He has been making music since about 7 years old when he first started keying with a piano. He has done several shows and is an extraordinary performer. He has a CD with his band entitled INTRODUCING. currently he is working on his solo project and still producing instrumentals and music for other artists.
His ear for abstract sounding sound and blending together of music genres is what sets him apart from most producers.Sam is now currently still with the Marine Corps. He is serving as an active duty SGT until June 2007 in Jacksonville NC.He has been deployed with the 24th meu and spent a year in Okinawa Japan.
