i am a malcontent. i used to be more free-wheelin' but now i'm just kind of grouchy and pissed off. i am goofy. i'm a smartass. i take things too seriously and give up too readily. i get caught mouthbreathing all the time and i most definitely drool on my pillow. i like store-brand frozen waffles. i make my toes really stiff most of the time, but this is particularly strange when i do it in my sleep. i talk too much. styx and journey lyrics inspire me to be a better person. to know me is to love me. maybe.

My Interests

i like old stuff and used to spend a lot of time foraging for and piling up old stuff. not so much anymore -- but i still *think* of myself that way. i like books a lot but never seem to read them. i also like picnics at sunset, long walks on the beach, champagne, and staring longingly into the eyes of another.i like a lot of stuff but i most actively dislike stuff.

I'd like to meet:

people who are less like people and more like robots. and you, providing you can put together a good email.

Movies:

american splendor, ghost world, the cook the thief his wife and her lover, days of wine and roses, drugstore cowboy, the fast runner, valley girl, almost famous. i've never seen star wars. i haven't seen a lot of "classic" movies. like back to the future... i missed that one too.

monument valley

monument valley straddles arizona and utah... finally, we're moving out of arizona. the visit in utah is short but mighty. monument valley was very cool... huge red rocks in the middle of some desert....
