The first event took place in November 2005 with Stanton Warriors, Rennie Pilgrem and MC Chikaboo headlining - the night attracted 5 thousand people who were dancing, yes, to death. Split Loop, Meat Katie and Drummatic Twins were the other cool Brits on stage that night. Atomic Hooligan and Jay Cunning enjoyed the fame of our local heroes along with cool Russians - Lady Waks, Quest and Mikha Voron, who started the breaks local madness back in the day (and also gave birth to Breaks Arena). So they do it again. Breaks Arena 2007 tends to capture the current moment on the scene and brings to St. Petersburg the new masters of style such as Deekline (UK), Dopamine (AUS) Superstyledelux (UK) and her majesty MC Chikaboo. Atomic Hooligan and Jay Cunning are also here. And In Beat We Trust DJs too (with Lady Waks, who is now experiencing her international breakthrough).
