I started in the early 80's playing in the Punk and New Wave scene
of Milano. I was in one of the pioneers of the Italian and European rock'n'roll
bands since 1984 : The Tribal Bops. The first album of T.B. "Get To The
Bop", has been produced by Boz Boorer (Polecats, Adam Ant, Morrissey) in 1991
for Fun In Acapulco Records UK. the Tribal Bops toured all over Europe until they
split in 1995. In 1996, I founded the Starliters
and switched to steel guitar; the band had a great european exposure from the
beginning;Starliters toured in Europe as backing band for artists such as Sonny
Burgess, Robert Gordon, Marty Brom, Marvin Rainwater and cut records for Tail
Records ,On the Hill, Favourite Records I also worked as session man on steel
guitar for Tail Records.
In 1998, I started The Cosmics a project
born for television soundtracks; the show of the band includes music videos and
tapes, all mixed in a Las Vegas Grind and science fiction atmosphere.
Big
fan of B-movies, Link Wray and soundtracks, I wrote music for national television
("Le Iene" show on Italia1 ,"Wild West" on RAI2)
Nowadays, I play around Europe with The Starliters and The Cosmics
and I run the extracool project Wasabi
Devotion.
As you can see, I never get bored!
