I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My name is Doug. I'm 40 years old and I grew up in northern (or central, depending on how you think of it) NJ with my two parents and younger brother Greg. When I was 5, we moved to Singapore (I had my 6th birthday in Guam and ate at the then world's largest McDonalds) for a year and a half. We moved back to Basking Ridge where I stayed until graduate school. I went to Stevens Institute of Technology as I wasn't sure if I wanted to go into the life sciences or into engineering - I chose life sciences as I hate physics. I did my masters at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia (just before it was bought and sold) and never left. I worked for several biotech and pharmaceutical companies in the Philadelphia area and am currently at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. My goal is to move into teaching. I'd like to teach high school level science (Biology and/or Chemistry and possibly Physics even though I hate it).I'm dating the tall guy in the picture with me. I know I keep cutting off his head, but oh well. I also seem to take pictures of him when he's moving (see blog). I'll probably have to drug him and tie him down one day so I can get a good picture of him. When I do, I'll let you guys know.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who thinks I look good in a baby doll nightie. My grandmother, because I've always wanted to see a walking skeleton. The people that created pringles and cheetos.Feel free to IM me at SwimmerPA on AIM if you'd like. If I don't respond it's only because I think you're a looser or I'm away from my desk (probably the second). It would be great getting a post card or something from you as well. If you'd like to exchange them, just drop me an email and let me know. Also, you can sign my little map thing so I can see where you guys are from.
