Walter W. Cole

You Gotta Start Somewhere...

About Me

Despite only pursuing music as a side hobby while in college (a decision he now regrets) Walter W. Cole was still able to perform in some of the Carolina's biggest venues including back to back years at the Dizzy Gillespie Jazz Festival, a private reception for legend Patti Austin, a gig at Williams-Brice Stadium, a private ceremony commemorating 100 years of USC basketball as wall as several other venues in the Carolina area. Now, freshly graduated from the University of South Carolina and a new resident of the Raleigh/Durham area Walter is looking to meet new musicians and make up for lost time.
As a musician and composer Walter W. Cole prides himself on making music that is accessible to the jazz "elitist" as well as the novice listener without sacrificing the integrity of the music. He welcomes collaborations and any feedback so feel free to contact him.
I Hope to Get Some More Recent Music Up Here Soon As these songs are a lil "dated" now.... "Waltz for Walt" Was written by my good friend David Carter, for non other than me, and so I thought it was only right for me to post it on here. ..
