Here's looking at you, kid!

About Me

I'm Daniel, an avid filmgoer and aspiring filmmaker. Hopelessly devoted (indeed a reference to "Grease")to film, art, and hockey, I have dedicated my love, which has never gone to a person, to that which I am passionately involved in. I have rather extreme views of the world and of this generation, strongly and most particularly pertaining to modern youth,of whom I refer to in my art of graphic novels as being one of the worst in the nation's history. I seek the unconventional, using the Socratic Method to ponder not why, but why not. With an interest in what is seen by society as unorthodox, I hope to set about my rather ambitious goals by retaining my wild, reckless ways, never selling out, and always maintaining that distinctive, sometimes innovative style, often found in my works. Many think, because of how polite I am that I might be gay, which I am 100% positive that I am not. Many people admire AND make fun of how I walk remarkably fast, you can't even imagine. That's another reason people think I might be gay. ONCE AGAIN, I AM NOT AND NEVER WILL BE I am SERIOUSLY a geek, known for being too smart and using WAY to big words in simple conversation: people often copy off me, compliment my knowledge, are usually baffled by what I say, or can't disagree with what I say, i usually leave them shocked. I know more about film and filmmaking than almost anybody at my school. I am really ARTSY, always drawing or writing during class instead of doing my work.I am afraid of the phone, yet for SPECIAL PEOPLE, I will actually get over it and try talking. I usually sound stupid on the phone ;)Even though I extremely skinny, it would stun people for them to know that I am REALLY unhealthy; I eat way too much, junk is my breakfast lunch and dinner, AND I snack just for the fun of it.I am: -said to be extremely sophisticated for my age -mature for my age -cynical -highly eccentric in unimaginable ways -notorious for vocabulary even when speaking in informal conversations, hence the big words thus far in this profile -a self-proclaimed film buff -single, so ladies, hit me up -a hard worker (literally; have a job) -a Monster/caffeine-in-general addict -hoping to live my entire occupation on this planet celibate and alone -modest, and waging war against egomaniacsI edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

Filmmaking, curshing the hopes of my enemies ( I swear that if I make it big, I will see to it that I leave them in the dust, crying and making them regret crossing paths with me), playing + watching hockey, public debate, politics, studing pop culture of the past (particularly the 80's) and drawing my stories, which will someday be transformed into films and/or novels.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

I'd like to meet:

I don't like many celebrities in this day and age; I even hate some to such an extent that I actually hope for their death, people such as the current President, Rosie O' Donnell, Uwe Boll, and so on, so forth. The only people I really want to meet are: beautiful girls, Morrissey, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg... I won't ever find "the one", because I already know my search for love is over; I have found no one. Never had no one ever, and not looking anymore.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

Music:

80's music, mostly; some of my favorite modern bands are either broken up, touring with a different lineup, or have completely lost their ways, entirely to their own fault; Coldplay,U2, the Verve, Morrissey in his solo career (whom, unlike the former list of bands is still going as strong as ever), Tears for fears (like Morrissey still going well) and SMASHING PUMPKINS!!! I really like New Wave, especially the funny moments of the 80's. Some of the better bands I believe are: u2 The Smiths Blondie Queen Tears for Fears Billy Idol Duran Duran ^..these among others.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

Movies:

Don't get me started; I've studied the last 70 odd years of film, so I'm pathetic in the sense that for my own age and for my own good, i know more than I should: genres; German Expressionism, Sci-fi, and the whole mobster scene, guys like Scorsese, Coppola, etc. My directors of inspiration: Spielberg, Lucas, Lang, Zemeckis, de Palma, and Welles. Films: M, V for Vendetta, the Star Wars trilogy, Back to the Future, Scarface, Who Framed ROger Rabbit?,The Untouchables, the Natural, Rocky, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Ferris Bueller's Day off, Breakfast Club, Citizen Kane,Chilren of Men, Titanic, Tim Burton's Batman + Batman Returns, NIghtmare Before Christmas, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Platoon,Syriana, War of the Worlds, Cinderella Man, the Godfather & Part II, Goodfellas,The Matrix,It's a Wonderful Life, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Jaws,Raiders of the Lost Ark, Snow White,Easy Rider, the WARRIORS, AmADEUS, Sunset Blvd., Rebel Without a Cause,Forrest Gump,AMERICAN GRAFFITI!!!,Close Encounters of the Third Kind,The Graduate,Psycho, Raging Bull, Maltese Falcon, the Birth of A Nation, Bonnie & Clyde,Chinatown, Dr. Strangelove: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Million Dollar Baby, A Trip to the Moon, The Birth of a Nation (purely for aesthetical inspiration), the Departed, the Exorcist, E.T, CASABLANCA!!!, The (original '73 version)Texas Chainsaw Massacre, King Kong (both original and PJ version; '73's should be disowned by Hollywood) and I could just go on, I've seen almost half of the films listed By AFI (American Film Institute, not the crappy band) on their top 100 list of 1997...Simply put, I know more than you. 'Nuff said.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

Television:

NOTHING but hockey, Futurama, Batman: The Animated Series, The Simpsons (middle seasons), and baseball sometimes.

But here's a brief list: The War of the Worlds, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Frankenstein, The Republic, 1984!!!, The Lord of the Flies, Utopia, The Invisible Man, the Time Machine, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Pride & Prejudice, White Fang, Hatchet, Wind in the Willows, Watchmen, Red Badge of Courage, Aesop's Fables, Animal Farm,Heart of Darkness + the Secret Sharer, Romeo & Juliet ( how often does a heterosexual list this as a favorite?), Julius Caesar, Treasure Island, the Diary of Anne Frank, the Count of Monte Cristo, Moby Dick, the Adventures of Tom Sawyer,Homer's Odyssey, David Copperfield, 20.000 Leagues Under the Sea,Hound of the Baskervilles, the Helsing series, Batman comics, Chicken Soup for the Soul series, the Hobbit, Around the World in Eighty Days, Darkness at Noon, Origin of Species By Means of Natural SelectionI edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

Heroes:

I have NO heroes... except the Ducks players, the above mentioned filmmakers, and anyone similiar in my beliefs of predestination and reincarnation, a weird form of both presdestination and reincarnation that you would have to ask me personally to explain.
