7TRUE.COMHello, okay about me, I've been married to a great guy for almost nineteen years now, and I wouldn't change it for anything, between us we have 6 beautiful children the youngest being seventeen, so we are almost to the point where we will be on our own! We also have 4 beautiful grandchildren and another on the way!! We have been blessed with the family we have. I spend my days working at the State hospital, and it is never boring, I get to see a side of people that most people dont know can even exist! It's amazing to see someone come through our doors out of control and acting somewhat bizarre and when they leave they are back in control of their lives and behaviors at least for awhile! Those are the moments that remind me why I get up and go there everyday, The oppurtunity to do something good for someone each day is powerful, especially when that person doesnt realize you are trying to help you and they will fight you and call you every nasty name in the book. My coworkers are amazing with their ability to withstand the abuse we take and still show up for work the next day! it is a job that you dont stay with for the money, it is the joy of helping someone who needs you, and also the joy of seeing the transformation. Now there have been alot of days when i would love to throw my keys down and run screaming from that building. I also believe that there is good in everyone sometimes you just have to look harder for it in some.
