The Power Exchange

About Me

The Power Exchange is a solo project...everything on this site is by zeke. This site is the culmination of my main hobbies: music, photography, and computers.
I've been playing drums for a few decades now, professionally and semi-pro. More recently I've learned to play guitar and keys and a couple other instruments. I also dabble in music recording and production. I'm interested in photography and the use of computers to manipulate and present images. And of course, I use my computer to record, mix and master the songs.
Some of my other projects include:
Leather Messiah -- metal boogie band (now defunct, I played drums and co-wrote much of the material, you can hear some of those songs on Rev's page in my Top list);
Avocado Shag -- (also defunct, this trio did dance and funk covers)
Swarm -- (based in Munich, Germany; I added some drum programming to the song Snail Ride)
Freewill -- Sweet Soul Rock & Roll...check it out in my Top list below; we're gigging pretty regularly around Vancouver so come out and make some noise.
Please listen to my songs, view my photographs and drop me a comment...tell me what you think. As an artist who is always trying to learn and improve, I appreciate the feedback from other musicians and like-minded souls. I especially would like to hear from other independent solo artists...if you are making music according to your individual creative vision send me a message and let me hear it! Also, please take the time to check out the bands in my Friends list; I have an amazing collection of talent here, from all around the globe, and they all deserve a listen.
Thanks,
zeke
