i live in n.tx.and own a small business. i lovingly refer to it as "my little dog and pony show". we work the high end of the building and remodeling industry. our clients range from educators, dr's and lawyers to millionaires. the most important title they hold with me is "friends". the backbone of my business and success is surrounding myself with key people and putting them first! everything comes before profit, i.e., employees, friendship and quality. my business model is wrapped "firmly" around this principle. my personal life is revolved around my family. i have a loving wife of 23 years, two beautiful daughters, a grandaughter that i love and adore!!!! and 4 dogs. my extended family and friends are equally important to me. i'm proud to say that in my family you would find people who have authored books, sold music to major recording artists and worked cattle with president johnson, designed the maintenance schedule for the space shuttle and some of us were in the movie "texasville". under direction of peter bogdanovich, my sister "sandy" and i were in a few scenes in the movie. we were given our que spots and danced with cybill shepherd and jeff bridges. in this scene of hundreds, we were chosen and as the scene starts, someone yells "he can't dance", it was my sister talking about me! peter worked around it with waist up shots and kept us in the scene. i personally feel that my best work was left on the cutting room floor. that is my 15 minutes of fame and shame! something else interesting about me? this is tough!! at an early age i was set apart from others, in more ways than one. i found myself bored to death with standard curriculum. i was labeled everything from "undisaplined nonconformist to idiot savant. after i looked that up in "Webster's collegiate dictionary", and at the age of 15!, i set out on the road with my best friend "darrell", we decided to go for a swim, we hitchhiked from ohio up into canada, across to california and then to the keys in florida. before i turned 16 i had went swimming in both the atlantic and pacific oceans! taking nothing more than a few clothes and a strong desire to be free of labels. something else to add? lets see, i have been working on a novel entitled "fallacies and the truth in them" but i'm thinking of changing the name to "mundane existence yours not mine". i have a publisher who calls at all hours like a little kid asking "are we there yet!-are we there yet!!!! it is non fiction, based on my life. the chapters are written in the form of address's i lived at and how the world and i experienced each other during these times. something i haven't touched on yet is my "deep" love of music! that should be obvious by my site in it's self. it took me 2 years to add something "about me" in my profile and it might take another 2 years to put my music on it? i would much rather hear than be heard for now! <style"ALL IN ALL I'M JUST ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL! IF YOU WANT TO HEAR "MY" MUSIC?--TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!
