My main interest in life is my relationship with God. After that, I would have to say that there's a vast array of things that interest me.I heart YL (a.k.a. Young Life) and Capernaum. People with disabilities...I love to love on them. They have the ability to make God's love tangible and real and authentic. I have the best job in the world.Writing is fun. I love culture. Not society, but the pasttimes and practices of people who live near each other. I hope one day to travel to Figi, Ireland, and basically all of Europe. And I will.My favorite car is the VW Bug. I will own one one day, but that day may be off in the VERY distant future.I've grown up on stage most of my life (since the age of 2), so singing, dancing and acting are some of my favorite things. That's not to say that I am very skilled in any of those subjects, but I do think they're beatiful mediums to express one's inner art. And everyone has inner art.
I have all the pople I need.
I am eclectic. The two genres of music I cannot stand is heavy metal and screamo. In no particular order: country, pop, classical, Christian, worship, gospel, showtunes, jazz, zydeco/cajun, some punk-ish stuff (more so pop-punk), accoustical, bluegrass.****Specifics: (again- in no particular order) Jack Jonhson, JoDee Messina, Justin McRoberts, John Mayer, Nickel Creek, MercyMe, Lyle Lovett, Jars of Clay, Switchfoot, Garth Brooks, Kacey Chambers, Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, Etta James, Tracy Chapman, Stars, Selah, Lifehouse, Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley, Ten Shekel Shirt, Skillet, Counting Crows, David Lindley, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Enya, Norah Jones, Bethany Dillon, Jonah Werner, Martina McBride, Sarah Evans, Old Crow Medicine Show, Rosie Thomas, Brandon Heath, Tim McGraw, John Legend, Aretha Franklin, Kirk Franklin, Red Stick Ramblers, Jimmy Eat World, Ryan Shaw, Obediah Parker, Amy Winehouse, Morning 40 Federation, Paul Wright....you get the picture!
chick flicks all the way!!! I'm usually in the mood for a good comedy. I starred in a movie once. Look below. :)
I Love Lucy re-runs. I don't have cable. Read a book instead.
The Bible is something I frequently read. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd, Shel Silverstein, Dr. Seuss, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers, A Gracious Plenty by Sheri Reynolds are some of the most recent books I have read. OH, and "If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to get out of the Boat" by John Freaking Ortberg. I am reading a book called "The Rest of God: restoring your soul by restoring the Sabbath" by Marc Buchanan. It is challenging, but amazing.
Jesus! After that, I would have to say that my Granny and Chip Evans. and my family (Mom, Luke, Rusty).
