About Me

In 2000,Brent Triplett & Wes Mitchell created a comedy tv show called Easily Amused:One-Take-Wonders.The show consisted of short 3-8 minute, improved, comedy sketches. The cast would come together as 10 members: Brent Triplett,Wes Mitchell,Nate Panning,Bryan Mahoney,Britta Dansky,Sarah Williams(Mizell),Sheila Brothers,John"Marshmellow" Dunbar,Glen Jones and Matt Mizell. Since the cast didn't have editing equipment, they had to shoot the films from start to finish in linear order using only in-camera fx.The cast had to try & get their lines right on the first take hence the name One-Take-Wonders.To date 30 some skits & 7 episodes have been created. In 2003,The Patrick Crawford Foundation created the One-Take film festival inspired in part by Brent Triplett & a similiar Australian event he had entered and the show Easily Amused. We wanted to see what others could do in this style and give filmmakers an opportunity to get out there and have fun making short films. We hope you enjoy our Monty Python-ish style of comedy.Just click on the videos link at top of page.
