Just me

About Me

I'm just your average girl trying to make it in the big city... I moved to London 2,5 years ago and love it. I work at Topshop and have a lovely boyfriend. I'm always smiling and try to have a positive attitude towards everything I do. I love my work and life is good. The thing I miss the most about home is my friends!!! Why can't you all move in here to be with me? I know it might be more convenient for me to move back there but not yet...

My Interests

FASHION... and anything and everything that goes with it, hair, beauty, everything. I live and breathe fashion! Never mind who wins at the Oscars but who wore what is what matters to me.

I'd like to meet:

Oh god, I don't know. I need to think about this... Oh, I know, Michael Jackson, at least and... hmm... Michael Kors/Donna Karan to ask for a job in N.Y. and Jessica Alba 'cos she's gorgeous (I did saw her at the premiere of Sin City and she indeed is gorgeous, even more so in the flesh)!!! Unfortunately for me, we were born on the same day (and year) and I guess God decided that she needed the beauty more than me... Maybe I have more brains then?? :)

Music:

Rap/r'n'b/hip-hop/dancehall/reggae etc. I love everything from Justin's SexyBack to Jay-Z's I Just Wanna Love You (Give It To Me) and lots of tunes in between. Anything that I can shake my booty to. ;)

Movies:

Brown Sugar!!!! The best movie... Largely thanks to the dishy Taye Diggs. Also, You Got Served, Legally Blonde, Honey, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, xXx (no, not for the incredible plot line but for the incredible Vin Diesel... hot!!!), Sweet Home Alabama, Meet Joe Black (my guarantee "bring on the tears" movie) and so many more I cannot remember right now. OMG!!! My new favourite is Stomp The Yard. I also love Something New that I saw recently.

Television:

I loved loved loved Sex and the City. Thank God for DVDs. :) At the moment I watch the O.C., The Hills is my new favourite, Nip/Tuck, WAGs Boutique, any/all fashion related programmes and my secret love, animal documentaries.

Books:

Books? But I don't read! It's fashion magazines all the way. :) Glamour, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, InStyle (love both the UK and the US versions), same with Marie Claire, Look (my new favourite), Heat for all the celeb gossip and the occasional US Weekly.

Heroes:

My mum. Having seen so many bad parents in the UK really makes me appreciate my mum who'll be 50 this year and has just started her own company. Go mum!
