My Interests

Visiting with my baby nephew, Designing indoor and outdoor spaces, Watching Home Makeover Shows, Playing with my Dogs, Going on Trips to the Mountains, taking Vacations with my husband, visiting family and friends, going to family functions like BBQs in the park for birthdays, gatherings to watch Steeler's games, family reunions, and holiday feasts, and topics and policies concerning Environmental Policy and Urban/City Planning, but most of all hanging out with my husband and dogs and being lazy. It's the best!

I'd like to meet:

My dog Zack that passed away 1 year ago right after Christmas. I'd like to have him come back now and then to say hi.

Music:

I like all types of music for the most part. I am usually happy with whatever is played. Usually my husband is the one who picks the CD that goes on and I usually like it as long as it is not hard-core jungle. I enjoy listening to my husband's music too. He is very talented and creative. My husband says I like "soft rock" but I like all kinds including regaee, old hip-hop and a little bit of the new stuff but not the stuff on the radio, some electro and house and then some of the classic 50s, 60s, 70s music and then I love 80s music. It is so fun. I like a lot of modern music with a latin flair. Too much to say - I almost like it all.

Movies:

For girly movies I like the classic Dirty Dancing and Top Gun and who can forget Don Juan DeMarco. I also love Goonies and Indiana Jones - all 3. For newer girly movies I would have to say Spanglish, 50 First Dates, and Sweet Home Alabama. All I have to say is everyone should watch "The Notebook". It is a great movie! I usually like the Mob kind of movies though - All the Godfathers, Goodfellas, Scarface, Donni Brasco, etc. I liked the movie Blow and the scariest movie I have ever seen is The Grudge. Funniest movie that I have seen lately is Napolean Dynamite. I enjoy light hearted movies as well as deep thinking movies with interesting cinematography.

Television:

I like Grays Anatomy and the Dog Whisperer and I try to catch sometimes the Extreme Home Makeover and Orange County Choppers. Sometimes I watch the animal surgery channel - I think I should have been a vet in my other life. Besides that I watch some of the things they have on the Discovery, History, and Animal Channel.

Books:

DaVinci Code. I actually listened to the Audio CD version on a 3400 mile car trip from Miami to California, but it was word-for-word the same as the book and it was Great! I recommend it to anyone, and it definitely helps pass the time on long car trips. I would like to read a lot of books but havnt gotten into it yet.

Heroes:

I don't really have a "hero". I think my sister is a pretty good role-model and she is quite a few years older then I am so I think I have always looked towards her.
