About Me

Bryan Lawson is a powerhouse bass player and performer from Springfield, Missouri who has been wowing audiences for over 20 years.
He began playing guitar at age 11 and in his first band at age 14. However, having 3 guitarists he asked for a bass guitar for his birthday. He fell in love with it and never switched back.
By age 16 Bryan began to tour with a band called Thrust, touring the east coast, Maine to Mississippi. In 1985 after loosing front man Greg Frazier to family life, a new front man and guitar player were brought in to reform under the name Naked Zoo. This union proved to be very successful, touring the United States from 1986-1992 gaining a legion of loyal fans along the way, playing both covers and originals and putting on an incredible show. Naked Zoo released 2 albums of original songs, one of these receiving radio play, since then they have gotten together to perform 3 successful, full house, reunion shows.
By 1993, after 8 memorable years the decadence of the 80’s had given way to a new (and less exciting) time in music. Bryan decided to leave the band and partner with another local talent, guitar player Bill Bruce to form the band Insane Society. Playing covers and writing great originals. The next band was Open Fire. After several line-up changes during his time with Open Fire, He decided to go a whole new direction. He became the bass player in a group called 2 nd Nature fronted by a talented female, playing variety covers, while also doing studio and fill in work in his hometown of Springfield and in Branson Theaters. In 2000, Bryan started touring and recording with another talented song writer / musician, Art Bentley. They released 2 Cds of original songs.
In 2001, a call from Branson, Missouri comes, and Bryan Lawson has 2 weeks to learn the music and begin touring with the Osmond Brothers. He has been playing with them ever since. Playing with all of the Brothers and Marie, he’s been entertaining audiences and enjoying sold out shows both in the United States and Europe, finally playing Wembley Arena 3 times!Bryan became the bass player for Tony Roi (The Elvis Experience) in 1995, in Branson but after only a year, chose the permanent gig with the Osmond Brothers.
Since 2005 The Osmond Band continues to play, as The Dropouts, when not on tour with the Osmond’s. Myspace Contact TablesMyspace Layouts
