Born and raised on the East Coast of Norfolk, I first started to listen to Rock n Roll at the age of about seven, clearly remembering my father playing the big 'O' (Roy Orbison)on his old Dansett record player. As I got older my musical choices started to broaden with a keen interest in the British R.n.R scene, and in particular the sounds of Johnny Kidd, Vince Taylor and Tony Crombie. Once I started work I began to buy clothes in the Ted stlye and still remember going to the tailors to have my first drape jacket made. RnR has now become a way of life for me not only listening to the sounds but also keeping the Edwardian style alive and hoping to influence any newcomers to the scene. None of my friends hardly wear drapes in the true Edwardian style any more, prefering to don the leather jackets and jeans of the rocker style. This makes me, I believe,the only true 'Ed Ted' on the East Coast of Norfolk.
