About Meeks

I'm a 23 year old Beatmaker Out of Omaha Nebraska. I was in the military for 5 years. I served in Iraq twice. I been living in germany for the past 4 years and recently got back to Omaha. My Inspiration is always Success. Its Not all about the money.. Honestly If your in to music just for the money.. U wont last long. Music wasnt my first love in Life.. But while in Iraq.. I started Messing around with FL Studio.. Taught myself how to play the piano.. and basic music theory (I still havent mastered the piano...but it sounds like i did)

The Music

I love doing Dirty South Style music.. But lately I been gettin into a more.. Laid back feel.. Not so much jumping around but telling a story.. I'm a expert at Adding Sampled Voice Hooks. Its my specialty.. Recently I just started doin West Coast thanx to the Influence of Snakehouse Member "Snake". I dont try to limit myself to one thing.. Sooo Just holla and i'll try anything.. I prefer to Compose over Sampling.. U have to be very patient to sample.. I use to sample alot but.. once i learned how to work the keys.. Composing Comes Easy. My Biggest Strength is My Melodies.. I can make different Melodies All day every day.. But My Weakness is drums.. Not to good with programming them.. But I'm working on it.

Who Will I work With

Anybody and everybody.. Im not major yet.. but in my opinion.. the Majors is slippen.. Lots of underground beatmakers/producers is coming out of nowhere and taken money out they pockets.. But all I ask is that people be serious about what they do.. U have to think of it like this.. If u want to Blow up.. U have to have 3 Things.. 1 Hit record to get your name out...a Track for The Club... and a Track That Tells people about U.. Its not all about.. How much Swag u got.. How yo rims Take longer to rotate then The Earth around the sun.. or What bitch u fucked the other day (or nigga for the ladies) Be serious.. but be you..

NON EXCLUSIVE
Non Exclusive will entitle you the ability to use the leased Instrumental for ONE (AND ONLY ONE) commercial application (Mixtape, CD, DVD or Website) with small scale distribution (up to 5000 copies) and unlimited Non-Profit (Demo) projects. If you sell more than 5000 units you contact me to either buy exclusive rights or to rent/lease it again for another 5000 units. You will receive a single mixdown of the leased Instrumental together with a contract giving you non-exclusive rights to the instrumental. It must state "Produced By M.E.E.K.S (Seymour Bucks)" in the credits of your release. M.E.E.K.S (Seymour Bucks) will still own the full rights to the beat. EXCLUSIVE
Exclusive rights will entitle you the ability to use the purchased Instrumental on any commercial application (Album, Mixtape, CD, DVD, Movie, TV, Radio Play, Games or Websites). You will be able to distribute unlimited copies of the purchased Instrumental. You will receive a single mixdown of the leased Instrumental together with a contract granting you exclusive rights to the instrumental. It must state "Produced M.E.E.K.S (Seymour Bucks)" in the credits of your release. After 10000 copies sold, M.E.E.K.S (Seymour Bucks) will be entitled to Producer Royalties of 2% of records sold. After 100000 copies sold, M.E.E.K.S (Seymour Bucks) will be entitled to Producer Royalties of 4% of records sold. M.E.E.K.S (Seymour Bucks) will still maintain the copyrights of the Instrumental but agrees to not selling rights for using the Instrumental to anyone else. ..<
