I’m a college student, a student teacher, and a waitress. I am too much and not enough. I am bitter but sweet. I have walked through hell but I have tasted heaven. I don't have a place that I call home. I smile with my eyes. I live around my daydreams. My opinions are usually situational. I see the gray area in everything. Everything in my life is a blessing and a curse. I’m mature but I’m too silly. I’m shy but sometimes I’m outgoing. I say things just to say them. My fears are all irrational. I’m standoffish to most and clingy to few. I’m surrounded by a million people but I still feel alone. I care too much but not enough. I’m vain but I feel inferior. I’m too emotional but when I’m hurt I go numb. I’m not assertive but I’ll tell you off. I look naïve but I know more than I should. My face may be sorrowful but my soul is well. I’d rather believe a beautiful lie, than face the ugly truth. I can't fix myself so I try to fix everyone else. You can’t hurt me more than I’ve hurt myself. I may be impatient but I've been waiting forever. I don’t believe in ghosts but I’ve been running from them all my life. The odds are always against me but I always succeed.
