About Me

Pictures are up! The rest of them are in the photo section. Thank you Tracy! :)

This is a fan page but I have Tracy and Robert's blessings, so I guess that makes it semi-official :)

Check out Tracy's current project Pan For Punks .

Toxic Popsickle broke up many, many years ago so there will be no tour dates or blog entries. I thought it was a shame that such great music is on its way to being lost forever. People should know about them and we fans should have a place to chat about memorable shows and how heartbroken we still are over the break-up.

Influences: Aside from being absolutely phenomenal live and the obvious greatness of the music itself, Toxic Popsickle will always be important to me for expading my horizons.

When I was young, most of the shows I went to were my friend's bands and my friend's friend's bands. I was just supporting my local scene and if I didn't already know the band, I didn't bother with shows.

I went to see TP on a whim, because they had Toxic in their name and I was pretty much strictly into death metal/thrash/punk at that time.

To this day I am more open minded to different sorts of music because of the wholly positive experience of walking into such an unexpectedly great show as TP's.

To hear something so original and upbeat and still crunchy enough for my morbid tastes just blew me away. I always loved drums so I was hooked on the "drummer AND percussionist" deal right from the first thump.

I knew, absolutely KNEW that they would make it, they would be internationally famous and sought after the world over. I knew I was seeing history in the making and someday people all over the world would be jealous when I told them I saw Toxic Popsickle from 3 feet away in some little dive. *sigh*

Nonetheless, they mark a time in my life when I was growing up and discovering a world outside of death metal and eventually a world outside of my home town. This music will forever be a part of my life and I'm glad MySpace has provided a way for it to become a part of your life too.
