Hi! I'm Jessica Marie Alba, but I prefer to go by Jessie. I've been going on my fan sites on the internet and there isn't a really accurate bio on any site so I'll just give you a little mini one. I was born on April 28, 1981 in Pomona. My dad was in the Air Force, so we moved around a lot. When I was three when moved to Mississippi, and when I was five we moved to Texas. It was there that I fell in love with acting. I know it's unbelievable but it has been my dream to act since that short residency in Texas. Shortly afterwards, we moved back to California, into the Los Angeles area. I had begun to drive my mami crazy with my incessant love of acting until finally, just after my twelfth birthday, she signed me up for acting classes. A little under a year later, an agent from a local talent agency had seen one of my acting recitals and taken up interest in signing me. My first film, just after my thirteenth birthday, but still very exciting to partake in was Camp Nowhere. One of the originally casted actresses had declined to do the film, so I was casted in her place. Later that year, I did a few commericals for Nintendo and JC Penny. The next year, Nickelodeon signed me on to a supporting role on their show The Secret World of Alex Mac. Then when I was fourteen, I earned a role on the show Flipper as a main character Maya. I stayed with the cast of Flipper until I was seventeen. In between seasons, just after my sixteenth birthday, I had a small role in Venus Rising as a younger version of an older character. I also appeared in an episode of Chicago Hope. Later that same year, I went on a Canadian talk show, The Dini Petty Show, for my first talk show appearance. Mostly I went over my experience with acting and my role in the Flipper series. When I turned eighteen, I did the movie P.U.N.K.S. opposite Randy Quaid. That same year, I did alot of small promotional work, including a lot of cameo tv appearances on shows like Brooklyn South, Beverly Hills 90210, and Love Boat: The Next Wave. Just before my nineteenth birthday, I started working on Never Been Kissed, which got me back into the Hollywood, major motion picture scene. After that I started doing Dark Angel in 2000, and then did films like Honey. My latest stuff has been Sin City, with Bruce Willis (yes he is really that buff in person!), and The Fantastic Four. In case most of you ladies were wondering, Chris Evans is wonderful! He's a great actor. He and I played siblings in the film, but just being on set with him for almost a year made us more like siblings then ever. Check out the Fantastic Four website as www.fantasticfour.com.
