Carlos Carty (30 years), a native of Lima, Perú, has lived in Brazil since 1997. Captivated by Andean and Latin American music in his adolescence, he started to learn traditional wind instruments such as quena, zampoña, pan pipes, composing his first music and presenting it at diverse festivals, competitions, radio and television with great success. He was the student of masters of reputation, in addition to his own extensive self-studies as an instrumentalist, musician, composer, arranger and programmer; specialist in Ethnic flutes and computer music. In Brazil, Carlos' music is presented at diverse institutions of art, festivals, theaters and musical events sponsored by different institutions, such as the Peruvian Consulate and Prom-Peru. Carlos has also formed some groups, such as America Inkas, but later continued with his solo career. He has also participated in writings and shows by various Brazilian artists: with the singer Roberto Leal albums "Roberto canta a Roberto" and "It Turns Brazil"; with the duo Kael and Enrique, the rock band Homen do Brasil, with the winner of the festival Viña del Mar, Jorge Pardo, with Adriana Mezzadri, Chino Figueroa, Elleen Burhum and Carlos Misajel among others. In 2003, Lavrador do Vento Records produced the album where Carlos shows his total inclination new age music, and where his individual style matured: "Santuario Sur", an album dedicated to the whales of the South Pacific, launched in September 2005. In 2005, Azul Music and Caras Magazine featured Carlos' music, performed by the band "Escalando El Aconcagua" on the magazine's promotional compact disc. Later, the same occurs in the magazine "Quem", of the publishing company TV Globo with another band, "Invisible Sun". Carlos has also been tapped to participate in the band of known Brazilian singer Adriana Mezzadri (the voice of the "novela songs" of Rede Globo). In 2006, launches the album "Machu Picchu o Segredo dos Incas". Carlos Carty es natural de Lima, Perú, residió en Brasil entre 1998 a 2006. Cautivado por la música andina en la adolescencia, empezó a ejecutar instrumentos de viento como la quena y la zampoña de forma autodidacta motivado siempre por familiares y compañeros de escuela . Fue discÃpulo de renombrados maestros como del quenista Edgar Espinoza.
Músico compositor y productor, especializado en flautas étnicas del mundo: flautas andinas, flautas de pan (panflutes), flautas nativas americanas entre otras.(1988 1990) estudios de aerófonos andinos en diversas escuelas.(1991-1997) forma su primer grupo llamado CORDILLERA, participa en conciertos y festivales
(1997-2006) radica en Brasil donde alcanza gran reconocimiento a su labor.En 2006 produce su disco “Machupicchu o Segredo dos Incas†en homenaje a esta maravilla del mundo, sus músicas son constantemente utilizadas para sincronización de documentales por la TV Globo, este Cd es distribuido actualmente por Sonhos e Sons y Lua music ( Brasil) Play Music & Video ( Perú).2007 Shows en el Palcio de Gobierno, Jazzone, centro cultural CAFAE-SEParticipaciones con otros artistasRoberto Leal, cantante portugues . Kael y Henrique duo paraguayo Homen Do Brasil con quienes realiza importantes giras y graba en algunos discos Jorge Pardo, ganador del Festival Viña Del Mar. Adriana Mezzadri cantante conocida por los temas de la novela El Clon entre otras. Elleen Burhun, cantante alemana que radica en Perú Chino Figueroa, shows y grabaciones.
