The Psychedelic Rainbows is the collaborative effort between two of the most unlikely musical heroes of the north eastern suburbs.
Our story starts with wealthy oil tycoon Rightious D taking a trip to mexico in search of the latest prize fighter, a ringer if you will, to compete against arch nemesis Baron von Snootenburg in a series of intense physical and mental tests. It is there where he hears whispers of an illegal mexican wrestler going by the name of El Puyo.
Curious and thirsty for the sweet taste of victory, Rightious D gains the trust of a mexican drug cartel and finds out the details of the mysterious El Puyo's next fight. That very saturday, Rightious D is standing shoulder to shoulder with out of work shlubs and the kind of people who would kill you for a fucking sandwhich.
Midnight strikes and the masked wrestlers take to their ring. El Puyo was everything the townsfolk made him out to be! He fought with the strength of ten men and two goats. After the bloddy massacre of a fight, Rightious D approaches the wrestler and offers him a large sack of money to return home with him and compete against Baron von Snootenburg's mercenary.
Tragically, Rigtious D and his companion never made it home. Their plane crashed somewhere in the ocean and their remains were never found. All that remains is their legacy; a legacy that has inspired childhood friends Matthew Fazio and Aidan Mcdonald to stray from their more tradional rock stylings and create music in the name of the greatest oil tycoon and mexican wrestler to ever team up against evil.
Oh, and I suppose you're all wondering. What happened to the baron? He changed his name and is now living among us as Jay Pitman. Please, somebody kill Jay Pitman.
