About Me

"...the overall sound to me is like the bastard child of Ozzy and Pantera circa Mouth For War" Andy Bradshaw, Former Assistant Editor, Metal Hammer.
"...pure, angry, heavy thrashing rock..." Dawn Ellis, Focus, MDA Group of Newspapers.
"Big, hard, noisy, crunchy metal." Sexy Dave, Pure Rawk - www.purerawk.co.uk
"...play well and rock hard..." Backbone, 24/7 Magazine
Formed by guitarist Roger B and singer Adi Capell, RAIDER is set for a VERY busy 2007! The reception to their original material has already been phenomenal with a fast growing fanbase in the South West of England.
Tortured, angsty vocals laid over devastating drums, pounding bass and searing guitar chops make RAIDER one of the 'ones to watch' for 2007.
The level of musicianship is of an exceedingly high standard and Adi Capell has to have one of the most distinctive rock voices around today. Production values are also very high with textured vocals prevalent on all tracks.
Whilst the band originally intended to independently release a 5-track EP in 2007, they were so encouraged by the positive feedback they received that they wrote and recorded seven additional songs and upped the ante by deciding to put out a whole album!
Ten of the 12 songs made the grade, so the hard part of the album was over. Visitors to RAIDER's myspace page voted for the title 'Junky to the Pain' and the band released the alnum on May 1st. You can get four complete tracks here and samples of the remaining 6 via the band's official web site, www.raider.uk.com! Junky to the Pain is also be available to buy via myspace, the band's homepage and selected record stores for just £4.99.
RAIDER's diary is starting to look a lot more like it and the guys are looking forward to seeing you all out there!
So, do yourself a favour - download these songs, burn them on a CD and play LOUD!!!
