Drumming, drumming, drumming... I bang away for at least two hours a night! ;-) Right now I'm obsessed with playing really, really fast double kick parts. My current nemesis is "Rain" by Trivium. It's killing me! (believe me, playing semiquavers at 210bpm for a whole song really starts to burn) I play in a few different bands: "Jamthreads" is the classic rock group I've made 3 CDs with; "The Naked Band Society" is our Blues Brothers-style covers band, available for weddings and parties (yes, we do get naked on stage occasionally). I also play in a Dream Theater tribute band; we have some gigs coming up in London in February. I'm in the process of starting up a Tool/APC-style prog-metal group with some friends... we'll hopefully be making a demo in the summer. Lots of my friends are in cool bands... check out Hale, Genius, Iain Hornal, Hunger for the Crash, Bungle Junior and the multi-talented Richard Campbell (aka "The Legend"). Do I do anything else other than music?? Err.. not really.
Guitarists, bassists, drummers, singers... Jethro Tull-style nose-flutists... Anyone with some original muscial ideas... Anyone who can play Dream Theater solos (yes Rich I know you can!) Anyone who needs a drummer for a project/demo... Anyone into the alternative/metal scene... Anyone who goes to metal clubs & gigs in London... Anyone with cool and unusual hobbies (kite-surfers, free-runners, exotic dancers, fire-jugglers, illegal street-racers, downhill mountain bikers, snowboarders, amateur pornographers)... rock chicks with piercings, short skirts and big boots... Anyone who is fascinated by the darker side of life... Torture garden members... Swing/Jive/Burlesque enthusiasts... Ravers (Antiworld anyone?)... Bohemian art-studenty Shoreditch types... Artists of any description...
No famous people though. They scare me. Besides, they're never as interesting in the flesh...
