Make Art / Film (some say "artist", other, "filmaker", depending on who watches, what, how & where it is screened). My friend Chapoulie said that my work, mostly films, allowed people to strictly "dive into it, to take a baptismal bath". I indeed took some people into a real forest to watch a film called "THE SCREENING" and see what happens when the night's wildlife take care of this bath for true.
Another film, LES HOMMES (95 min), sets on an icy island and allows the landscape to witness the passing of some human beings. It will be released in french theaters in june 2008 (4th). See http://ariane-michel.com/

Artiste / Cinéaste.(selon ce qui est montré, où, comment, mais surtout qui regarde (...)), Mon ami J-M Chapoulie a dit que mes films/videos permettaient de "plonger dedans", de prendre un "bain baptismal"... J'ai effectivement essayé de littéralement plonger des gens dans une forêt, la nuit, pour leur montrer "THE SCREENING", un film où les animaux de la nuit se chargent du baptème.
Mon récent film, LES HOMMES (95min, 2006), qui sort le 4 Juin dans des salles de cinéma françaises, raconte le passage d'une bande d'humains-scientifiques dans le point de vue d'une île froide, (avec la glace, les bêtes, les pierres).
