BIOGRAGHY ALPHA was born and raised in the Boggie Down Nima, with the name ALPHA TAMIM.He had love for Hip-hop as a kid growing up. He was influential and supportive to upcoming emcees and Hiphop lovers in general. He became a Hiphop icon, when he started organizing Hiphop shows, seminars and parties by way of bringing Hiphop heads together. His first successful show was dubbed WU-NITE in 1996.This explain the love he had for wu tang clan. After this he established the wu tang clan fun club here in Accra-Ghana. And the wu nite has been in existence ever since its introduction. ALPHA aka KLA SNUUP is also known st Qur..an.He opened the Brooklyn zoo which later became the shaolin zoo. The zoo was meant for open mic section where emcees come through to freestyle on beats, read books to expand the mind, divine lectures on both the Quran, Bible, etc ... and of course historic knowledge Through the weekly basis of the zoo programme, majority and improvement was attained by emcees in their skills, style of flow and their lyrical contents and upon response from the streets, Alpha selected 11 emcees to be the frontlines to represent the whole family, which is now called BLACK MONKZ . aka Black shaolin monk funk. HE became the head monk; godfather and chief producer of the Black monkz.In 2003 he produced the group’s first album (Mama Africa).He became the first producer to produce an underground hip-hop album in Ghana. AS a producer Alpha is responsible for a lot of hip-hop influential classics such as blind fadaz, alkadema, monk classic,Mama Africa all in the group’s debut 2003 Mama Africa Album, which was considered to be one of the most influential albums which gain international attention and the song mama Africa was rated 3rd among the best 50 songs from Africa on BBC 1 extra monthly show. SINCE that album he is still spreading the gospel of hiphop, recording another album with frontliners, ready to drop the 2nd chamber’s (PROJECT MONKZ) first album Da PROJECT MONKZ single ONCE A SLAVE has gain international attention. HE is also working on countless solo albums of the frontlines of the group. HE is also one of the influential instrument in the formation of V I P. NKASEI, and other righteous movements in the hood. ALPHA is also a member of the B D N Entertainemt.An organization which will help in upgrading talents of the youth musically, organize shows to edutain and bring people together and to help the needy in society.ALMIGHTY GOD IS THE GREATEST!
