About Me

"Soon we'll be out amid the cold world's strife,
Soon we'll be sliding down the razor blade of life"

-- Tom Lehrer, "Bright College Days"

I find the concept of "time" very fascinating. It's a very fundamental aspect of our society, but it is so synthetic. I am always looking for new perspectives on anything involving time, such as how and why we perceive it and the true nature of the past, present, and future. Considering the fact that time is so ubiquitous that it is the most commonly used noun in the English language, understanding it more thoroughly could potentially have a huge effect on our existence. It freaks me out (in a good way) thinking about it!

Wish me luck...

Okay, so tomorrow (err...today...) I'm going to be playing piano during mass for the first time ever. I'm not necessarily freaked out but I haven't played in front of lots of people ever since my last...

Dreams

Dreams. They are so weird...I think they are fascinating. They are a way of subconsciously analyzing the underlying themes in our lives. But most of the time, for me anyway, it doesn't matter...becaus...

Physics is almost done!

This year has been an interesting one for me. I got myself caught up in physics. I took it for natural world gen-ed. I picked it over biology because I would have had to take 3 terms of biology and I ...

Some random observations

1. The ads on MySpace are really annoying. Yeah, THOSE ones. The thought of ditzy-looking women being on the computer and acting like they do in the ads makes me laugh. I don't think the ads are suppo...

Age

So today I was thinking about how I'm 21 now...and then I thought...21 * 4 = 84. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that....assuming I die at the age of 84, I've already been through a q...
