My name is Marcus. I play music, mostly the piano. I prefer music that makes me cry or shiver but I basically like anything that's either swinging or expressive, playing mostly rock, pop, jazz and soul at the moment.
Apart from writing my own music I try to focus on playing with songwriters, wich is a great way to be creative, I reckon.
I've got a messy indie/folk/slick/soul solo project going on, inspired by way too many great musicians/songwriters (see: Influences) for me to get any baring on. In this project I play all the instruments and do the vocals myself.
The pianist and the singer/songwriter in me are both represented in the music box above.
I just spent a great year studying music at Fridhem folk highschool in southern Sweden. Now I have returned to Stockholm to get a proper job and start up some fine musical projects to start with. After that, we'll see what happens.
