Originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, this talented artist has been singing and recording for over 15 years. While living in Atlanta, GA, Terrance spent 8 years working in studios and performing in clubs. He began his entertainment career by recording a track for the Chocolate City motion picture soundtrack, produced by Rainforest films. Since then he has appeared in two films, Pandora’s Box (2002) and Stomp the Yard (2007). Terrance has recorded, produced and written songs for several independent artists throughout the southeastern US. He has also scored a short film for LA based Vision Quest Pictures. After graduating from Florida A&M University Terrance worked in the entertainment field as a promoter, working on projects in Chicago, Atlanta, Cancun, Detroit and Puerto Rico. He has worked with Rainforest Films, Def Jam records, No Limit Films, Porsche North America, Seven Hills Management & Consulting Group and many others. Throughout his career Terrance has stayed true to his passion for music that uplifts the masses with messages of love and unity.While working on his music Terrance Darnell has spent the majority of his professional career working in the communities with youth in public schools and non-profit agencies. “The youth of our nation need positive guidance. They want someone who cares about their development to take an active role in their lives and to show them how to live off principle.â€That same prinicple is the source from which Terrance Darnell creates his music. “
Working with Dead Prez DJ Seven, well known producer and musician Ashanti the Mad Violinist, George Clinton's keyboardist Whitney Russell, Anthony Hamilton's saxophonist Adrian Crutchfield, Drummer Steven Gooden, and others has enhanced the Chocolateville production team. Chocolateville Soul is the live music event currently being promoted and is one of the best events in the city for live music performances.In 2007 Terrance Darnell began working with the Soul Kitchen family of talented musicians. Headed by internationally acclaimed artist Vinx this groups list of family members includes Guitarists Sean McMorris, Batman, Major Funk and Y Diz, Drummer Graymation, Producer DJ Vando, Singers Kuku(guitar), Chanda Leigh (keys) , Salakida, Dorian Lee, Nadirah Shakur (arrested development), Kai Martin, Gaelle, Zynzelay, Brodie and Rashida to name a few.
