I was born and raised in Queens NY and moved to Florida in 2003. I love the city but love the tropics as well and feel very much at home with a pina colada and a sarong. Growing up in the city gave me lots of opportunities I took advantage of. I auditioned for the Playboy Club at the St Moritz, danced, sang, modeled, was in movies, did a video with Axl Rose and Mike Monroe from Hanoi Rocks (got up close and personal with Axl), went to a backstage party for the Jefferson Starship and hung with Marty Balin, met and got autographs from Dustin Hoffman and Kate Jackson in an antique shop in the village, Woody Allen at Michael's Pub, Yoko Ono at Kenny's Castaways, met Bill Cosby and his son at a doctors office in my office building, the cast of Married to the Mob, they shot some scenes in my office building, had champagne with Angela Bowie at a recording studio (Frexinet), a seat filler at the Emmy's, met LOTS of people there, saw Janis Joplan and Jimi Hendrix together at Flushing Meadow Park, have pictures of her, The Beatles at Shea Stadium and John Lennon waving out the back window of a Brinks truck as it took them away after the concert in the parking lot, Flock of Seagulls at the Ritz, NY Dolls at Coventry, named my first born after the female singer in Lou Reed's Velvet Underground (Nico), hung at Electric Ladyland Studio, my brother worked there, partied at Plato's Retreat, saw Iggy Pop and the Stooges at Max's Kansas City, he rolled around on broken glass on stage and was all cut and bleeding, partied at Studio 54 and still have my vip pass, went to an Andy Warhol party, met The Stones at WPIX, my uncle was a camera man there, they were on the Clay Cole show, I was 16 and hung in the dressing room with them, Brian Jones was still alive and have a picture of me with his white Vox guitar and Mick's maracas, dated a "friend" of the Stones when I was living on Long Island, hung at the mansion in Old Westbury with Keith's ex Anita, father Bert and children, went to a dinner party at a chinese restaurant on Long Island with one of the Gambino's, I come from a large Italian family, both my parents were born in Italy, my last name is in the book of Nostradamus, rode with the Angels and the Pagans, was in Easy Rider mag, John Cougar Mellancamp at Goldfingers, Keanue Reeves at the Supper Club, Jason Bonham hangn at The Scrap Bar, Joan Jett riding her bike around Long Beach NY were I lived for a while, had dinner at Cellars in the Skies at the World Trade Center, saw the mushroom cloud of smoke from my office window the morning of 9/11, been to europe, love to dress up and go to gala's but love my torn jeans and dive bars and jack & cokes too, love animals and Harley's, the ocean and nature, although it can be cruel, and baisically went from a child of the 50's to a woman of the 60's, a wife and mother of the 70's, a divorced ready to party girl of the 80's, a working girl of the 90's and a very cool grandma of the present, I am a poet and a dreamer and will never grow old.
