La Balteuband was born about 4 years ago , and has been mutating until became what it is now. The music of la Balteuband is articulated around my compositions (ET) that, as It says in the website, are a blend of jazz and elements of Argentine music, such as rhythms like chacarera and zamba along with the lyricism of tango melodies. Coktail-like!!.
La Balteuband has performed (and tries to perform regularily) in New York venues such as the 55 Bar, Zebulon, Cornelia Street Cafe, Makor, Cachaca, Louis 649, Nublu, and many others.
La Balteuband has release its first album in December 2006 released by the record label Not Yet Records; on June 2008 we had recorded a second album to be release sometime during 2009....stay tuned!
