IMAGINATION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN KNOWLEDGE

About Me

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

I am a filmmaker and the founder of a thriving film institute here in Michigan known as MPI (www.mpifilm.com) . I bring a little over two decades of real world experience to the institute and hold a Bachelors of Science in Cinematic Arts. My first 35mm feature film Hellmaster aired on HBO and Cinemax while the elite art house distributor THINKFILM released my film..DARK HEAVEN nationally via Blockbuster Video. DH also took small awards at both the Film Festival New Haven at Yale University and at the Festival of Fantastic Films in Manchester, England. My tenure in the buiz includes collaborations with a wide variety of Hollywood professionals including Academy Award winning special effects artist Chris Walas (..The Fly.., ..Gremlins..) and screen veterans David Carradine, John Saxon, Dee Wallace to name a few. My rather ambitious 35mm horror project entitled "the RAIN" just wrapped production.------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------
