Look to the Skies is essentially a Grand Rapids death metal band
stemming from the rise and fall of countless prior bands. They have
grown up with and through a number of musical ages guaranteeing
Michigan something tried and true.
With influences ranging from Whitechapel to Stick to Your Guns, Look to
the Skies incorporates all that is and should be metal and hardcore into
their aggressive sound. They fuse the two genres together, add their
fair share of death, and bring an entirely new atmosphere to this
clouded scene. This originality? Just call it quality.
Live shows bring a new name to the brutality movement, and should be.. experienced first hand to fully understand. The edge of metal met with
the intentional hardcore ugliness during intense breakdowns will get you
low, and they keep it low. Keep it low, keep it slow.
