About Me

World B. Free (also known as Fred Thumps) is a breath of fresh air in this music industry oversaturated by self- proclaimed pimps, hustlers, and killers. After graduating from Howard University with a Masters degree in Education, he began teaching middle school at the Tree of Life Public Charter School. Just recently, he has moved back to his hometown in Syracuse, New York to begin branding his Upstate Alumni movement in which became an official LLC in 2008. He now works for the Upward Bound program in which he helps students transition into college after graduating high school. The emcee slash schoolteacher slash President of USA is truly creating his own lane in the hip hop game so strap on ya seatbelt and enjoy the ride..."In a world full of single parent mothers, emcees become fathers.
