As the dawn of 2007 spawned, band members Dave Nanni and Matt Marach met Ryan Abril and Matt Nicols for a jam. The jam sparked the beginning of a revolution in jam band music in Arizona. Chachiyo became the result of the creative minds of the four; focusing on quality song structure, lots of improvisation, tempo changes, and utter psychedelic chaos. In 2008 CHACHiYO parted ways with their original lead guitarist Matt Nicols and aquired a new perspective on lead guitar, HERNAN PEREZ.
