I am German, living in America since 1999... I first moved to Naples/Florida and enjoyed the beaches. Taking the opportunity to write for one of Germany's biggest Entertainment magazine, "Gala,†I relocated to LA, where I wrote stories about Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Mel Gibson to Steven Spielberg (for more information, see my documentary in the MY VIDEO section). I lived in Santa Fe/New Mexico as well, where I enjoyed the beautiful desert and skies there.
Now I live in Nashville and write about all the major country music events such as the CMA, ACM and CMT awards and artists such as Taylor Swift, Joe Nichols, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban etc. - mainly for Germany’s country music magazine “Western Mail†(see my photo album for all articles).
Before living in the States, I worked for several major music magazines in Germany and also as a publicist for the label GSE (Warner/Chappell), promoting European rock acts such as Victory, Sinner, B.Joe and many more. A few years later, in 1994, I started my own PR company, Acasha Media, working with German rock bands such as Bonfire, Frontline to name a few.
Today, I am promoting artists for the European market. I recently had a # 1 with Derek Sholl on the German Country Radio Airplay charts (see my blog entry for the latest charts.) Thought WOW! Let's do it again with more artists…,
