..The legendary Arc Music Group, one of the last great independent music publishers. The Arc Music catalog has been known to have one of the finest blues, rock and roll and jazz catalogs in the world. The Arc Music Corporation, the publishing division of Chess and Vee Jay Records, was founded in 1953 and have been involved in developing artists of such great statue as Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Howlin Wolf, Etta James, Little Walter, Jackie Wilson, Jerry Butler and many others.Six years ago the company made a big move into the growing Latin music market when it announced an agreement with Edimusica USA to administer their publishing in the US and Canada forming the nucleus of Arc Latino.The deal was significant: Edimusica USA is the North American division of Edimúsica Ltd, one of the leading publishers of Latin music and controlling over 20,000 music titles representing a wide variety of Latin genres. What made it unusual was that is also included the administration of master rights from the company’s associated labels, Discos Fuentes out of Colombia and Miami Records. This combination of both publishing and master administration is cornerstone to Arc Music Group’s concept of “one stop shopping” for music licensing of both synch and masters. Since then we have signed agreements with other Latin and World music companies including Orun Music, Mambo City Records, RB Entertainment. Some of the artists we represent include Urban Latin artists Propheta, vocalist and composer Aris Martinez, up and coming meringue star Stanley, Bachata con Sentido, production team A&X, MAFU Crew, Pablo Bachata, singer Aponte and the Sofla Kings. Last year we introduced Musica de la Calle a digital direct record label that features some of the freshest music off the street which can be digitally downloaded as soon as it comes out of the studio….When we get…you get it…..get it?
