20th May 2008 - The Hits Factory announces the signing of Virsa Productionz:
We have now signed up London based production duo Virsa Productionz under The Hits Factory artist management label. These highly talented musicians/producers have shown an outstanding ability to blend pure punjabi vocals and music to produce high quality Bhangra tunes. Watch out for their upcoming appearance on The Hits Factory's compilation ablum as well as their anticipated first single release - due this summer.

The Hits Factory teamed up with X1X Film and Design to shoot the music video for "The Hits Factory" album. The video features the songs 'Rumaal' and 'Phulkari' taken from the forthcoming album.

The compilation is a pure blend of the finest punjabi vocalists and songs from Punjab, blended with the finest UK DESI beats...
A brief history...
Raja Entertainers was launched in 1985 and soon became one of the biggest, most powerful and influential punjabi record labels worldwide. With superstars and legends like Hans Raj Hans, Manmohan Waris, Kuldeep Manak, Surinder Shinda, Sarabjit Cheema, Durga Rangila, Kuldip Toor, Ranjit Mani, just to mention a few... Raja Entertainers was the heart-beat of the punjabi music scene. For those of you who can remember back to 1997, and the huge Vaisakhi Mela concerts (NEC, Wembley,...) Raja Entertainers brought you the legend Surjit Bindrakhia for the first time in UK alongside a massive line-up of top artists, as mentioned above.
It now seems a distant past when there was such a powerful driving force behind punjabi music... but 2007 is set to be a big year... watch this space...
