Udist and Cumbu$ virtuoso Ahmet Akbulut has had a long career in turkish folk and popular music, widely known as "Cumbu$ Ustadi", or the Cumbu$ Master. He has many albums to his credit, on which he performs on both Ud and Cumbu$, as well as delivering some of the most powerful vocals on songs and Gazels in all of Turkish music. He has performed with many renowned artists, and his albums often feature many popular figures in Turkish Folk and Gypsy music, notably including Klarnet virtuoso "Ke$anli" Selim Sesler.
