Eli Cook Band

About Me

www.elicook.com...Eli began his musical efforts as an acoustic blues/gospel performer in the central Virginia area at the age of 15. His first power trio, the Red House Blues Band, was formed two years later and performed a mesh of Hendrix/Vaughn/John Lee Hooker covers and instrumentals. Today with the aid of bassist Eric Yates and drummer Jordan Marchini, he has developped a distinct voice with a full repertoire of heavier originals focusing on lyricism and riff-oriented rock. Best described as "Metal-Blues", the rhythm section is pushed by intelligent grinding bass lines and Zeppelin-esque drumming, the perfect canvas for Elis sonic explorations. The band performs constantly in the Charlottesville area and has a new CD "ElectricHolyFireWater".Create or get your
