About Me

Well my brothers finally convinced me to get one of these “Myspace” things, when I am Earthside its all they ever talk about. And according to Gordon its about time I got myself out there. So I’m John Tracy, and I was born on the 8th of October 2039. Most of my time is spent in space monitoring earth frequencies and listening to any messages picked out by our unique message filters. Once a potential rescue is radioed in it is my job to contact base and alert them. My main hobbies are astronomy and there isn’t really any place better to do that than Thunderbird 5.I attended Harvard University and followed in my fathers footsteps by becoming an astronaut. However some of you may know me, not as a member of International Rescue, but as the man who discovered the Tracy quasar system. I have also authored and published 4 non-fiction books on astronomy and outer space.

My Interests

Astronomy, astrophysics, physical cosmology, all types of physics in general really and of course I'm never happier than when I'm looking at the stars.

I'd like to meet:

All of my heroes, those who have walked on the moon, and anyone else who would like to discuss the merits of the Yarkovsky-O'Keefe-Radzievskii-Paddack effect. Or simply a girl who would like me to show her the stars.

Music:

Well I dont really listen to much music I'm too busy listening to possible distress calls but I tend to enjoy swing and jazz the most

Movies:

Apollo 13 (of course), all Star Trek films for the comedy value, Gone with the Wind and most other black and white films of that era (I'm a romantic kind of guy)

Television:

Classic comedy shows, any documentaries again I dont get to watch much in space and when I'm home I'm happy to watch what everyone else is!

Books:

Well I don't want to boast but my books make for some pretty good reading but I also enjoy classic works of English Literature

Heroes:

Edwin Hubble, Stephen Hawking, Sir Isaac Newton, all my brothers, and of course my father who first told me to look to the stars
