I'm kind of a grown up now. I prefer going out to dinner and kicking it with my friends rather than going out and getting wasted til 6 am. I mean don't get me wrong I still love to shake my ass like a royal idiot just to have a good time just to get a laugh out of anyone close by but I don't need to be like that every nite. I blame the "being a grown up now" on my long, screwed up, and twisted hours at work....after 12-13 hours a day sometimes all niters of being on your feet and hunched over beds, you kinda just want to put your feet up and say "SCREW IT, I AIN'T MOVING!!!" I also kinda attribute it to being in a happy relationship. Sometimes the man, a movie and some take out is all I really need to have a good nite. Go ahead. Call me LAME! I've called my friends that before. It's cool. But you know what I'm still a shit ton of fun when I do go out to play.A cheerful heart is always good medicine!

I'm a transplant to SD from CT via Philadelphia. I moved here for sunshine and to work in a terrific hospital. I am a peds nurse and a cardiac nurse, and I'm damn good at what I do. I work long hours at 2 hospitals...I probably work harder than I really need to, but I'm greedy. I love being outside, especially when it's warm out. I love exploring where I live to catch my bearings, however I haven't done too much of that here b/c it's mostly freeway driving and I'm too afraid of either ending up at a Military Base (been done before), in the Barrio (also done), out in the desert with NO gas (not done yet, thankfully), or at the Mexico/US Border (done that too).
I love listening to music and dancing, however I have found few places to dance out here in SD. I really like living out here but I'm a bit of a homebody and miss my family and friends as well as my lifestyle on the East Coast. I love to cook, more for other people than myself (I LOVE watching people's reactions). I really enjoy entertaining. I HATE TO CLEAN!!!, arts and crafts are always fun. I like to take pictures, especially landscapes. I can't wait to own my own house so I can't paint it and decorate it like I want. I suck at saving money, but I'm great at hording everything else. I want to travel the world and learn how to do anything and everything that there is to learn. I'd like to be able to speak a little of all the major languages (a little over zealous?) I'd like to walk the red carpet once. When I really grow up I'd like to be a plastic surgeon, a hair dresser/makeup artist, own my own gourmet deli (I'd make the most killer sandwiches EVER!!!), a want a bar on a tropical island where I can walk around barefoot, pour frosty fruity umbrella drinks and enjoy the sounds of reggae music and steel drum bands all day long. And I want a family.
