The Owner and founder of Velocity USA, our fearless leader The General John Black, opened for business in 1992. It all started as a small operation, out of his garage in the suburbs of Grand Rapids Michigan. Dealing in mostly water bottle cages and only three rim designs, John decided that he was going to market some of the best bicycle rims and accessories the world has ever seen...and so it was. The General and his partner/brother Tom, owner of Velocity Australia (where all our rims are manufactured), proceeded to develop new rim models, improve existing products and they won't stop until the enetire world is rolling on Velocity rims.Since then Velocity offers over 20 different rim designs in a variety of sizes and colors.
