Felipe Capri started is career in 1993, hosting a radio show
on Cyprus number one radio, Radio Elios. Felipe was soon asked to host club
events and not so long after became Club DJ of famous ones in Cyprus. In 1998,
back in Montreal Canada, he soon entered in the world of raves events and start
touring around the world as a trance DJ under Morgan Taylor. 2000 was the year
of his first cd released called Apocalypse. Many productions came along after
and new collaboration such with Jason Mateus (Neo Tokyo), Dan D-Noy, DJ Franco Fabi, DJ
Mimmo, Damon Jee, DJ Preach and more…

Neo Tokyo serves up an eclectic mixture of 1980s New Wave, techno sounds and
lyrics inspired by life in the new millennium. A blend of techno, rock, pop and
retro, yet more than any of these, Neo Tokyo's sweet and vibrant songs combine
melody and New Wave electronic sounds. Felipe Capri and Jason Mateus experiment
with style and explore bold combinations. This album is a cauldron in which the
duo joyfully blends the genres it grew up on. Directly inspired by Depeche Mode,
Gary Newman, New Order, and Nine Inch Nails, Neo Tokyo brings the spirit of New
Wave back to life. Jason Mateus co-writes and sings songs in English about the
world he lives in. Inspired primarily by techno music, Felipe Capri, a former DJ,
along with Jason Mateus composes and orchestrates the electronic component.
Capri and Mateus are not yet 29, and have been working together since 1999,
forging a style that dares to combine 1980s New Wave with electronic sounds.
