I , Pioneer 6 was created to make the first detailed, comprehensive measurements of the solar wind, solar magnetic field and cosmic rays. I was designed to measure large scale magnetic phenomena and particles and fields in interplanetary space, data from me and my sisters has been used to better understand stellar processes as well as the structure and flow of the solar wind. I also acted as the world's first space-based solar weather network, providing practical data on solar storms which impact communications and power on Earth. Myself and my sisters have been touted as one of the least expensive of all NASA spacecraft programs in terms of scientific results per dollar spent. As of 1996, I, Pioneer 6, was NASA's oldest operational satellite, having been in orbit over 40 years. I am pretty broken down, I am soooooo lonely and out of touch...I can only go "BEEP, BEEP, BEEP" now...but goddamnit, I still have a pulse, I may be so called "still functioning space trash" but I AM SOMEBODY !!. NASA no longer tracks me , doesn't even care ,on a regular basis because for what they claim as - "fierce competition for time on the Deep Space Network." Here I go up for a 6 month mission and I give them over 40 fucking years and they can't even give me a call. Who the fuck wants to hear about "competition " Those horrible, ungrateful bastards !!! The last time I heard from anyone, nothing more then lip service.... was in 2000, on my 35th birthday and they didn't even bother to ask what I had been doing...I wanted so much to share with them and they don't even care. Before that, in October 1997 – they contacted me but had the gall to say that it was only for a training exercise for flight controllers of the Lunar Prospector Spacecraft , FUCK THEM ! The absolute truth is that the technicians who used to so eagerly want , pang for , my data took a walk probalbly around 1980....but like some old confused widow of 30 years, I still call and ask if anyone is there, every goddamn day for 25 to 30 years.....I may be sagging, broken down , "obsolete" {try telling any women she is "obsolete"} but I still deserve respect !! Someone told me that the average modern electric toothbrush {made in fucking China} has more computing power then I ever had ! I'm fucking pissed, those dirty little FUCKMOUTHS !
