About Me



Born in Amsterdam, april 2, 1959, plays bassguitar and contrabass, started in 1975, attended the Amsterdam Sweelinck Conservatorium (1980/1983) and the Hilversum Conservatorium (1985/1989) with bass teachers Wim Essed, Arnold Dooyeweerd, Jan Hollestelle, Theo de Jong. Played on stage, radio, television, international Jazz festivals; in the theater and/or recorded with many Dutch and international musicians, like Hans and Candy Dulfer, Jan Akkerman, Rob Hoeke and Ruben Hoeke, Cornell Rochester...Bass editor for dutch guitarmagazine 'Gitarist' since 1990 (bass/guitar productreviews, interviews with people like Stochelo Rosenberg, Adrian Vanderberg, Billy Sheehan, Richard Bona, JayTee Teterissa, Marc Baronner..)
