About Me

Mark Brown, a native of Sidney, New York, has over 10 years of experience as a performing musician. He earned his B.M. in Music with emphasis in Music Recording Technology in 2003 from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA. While in college he studied with Dr. Jeffrey Kleinsorge and Dr. Jeffrey Savage for classical piano and Mr. Andy Roberts and Mr. Thomas Strohman for jazz piano and studies.Since graduating, Mark has worked for the American Music Theatre in Lancaster, PA. In addition to working as a keyboardist in the house band, he has performed on numerous albums and arranged and engineered music for the theatre and cast. For almost a decade, Mark performed with the Binghamton, NY area rock/blues band Large Marge and the Truckers. As the band’s co-founder, he helped produce two studio albums which included a number of his original compositions. The band broke up in 2002. However, they got back together this past April to play a show with national recording artists Gym Class Heroes. As a jazz/blues pianist, Mark has performed throughout the tri-state area, working alongside such artists as Canadian Fiddle Champion Mark Sullivan, jazz singer Amy Banks and national recording artist Martin Sexton. Mark is now a member of the Baltimore based rock band, The Bridge. Check out their website for tour dates, CDs and merchandise. www.thebridgemusic.com /
