About Me

What's good? My name is Scott. I just moved from Fairbanks Alaska after 3 years where I lost love, made friends for life and experienced extremes I'll be able to tell my future children about. I'm a weapons troop in the Air Force blah blah blah. Hockey and reading are my two passions in life. Meeting new people and dancing are a close second. I don't judge anyone at face value and pretty much get along with everyone. I had braces when I was a little kid and smile maybe too much now. You can call me on my cell phone, but I probably won't answer. It's nothing personal. I love dogs and cats. I stare at the moon whenever I get a chance. The same goes for sunsets. I have ADD when it comes to colorful things. I don't follow politics, or presidential campaigns, but I've been to war for our country and will volunteer again at a seconds notice. I hate talking about myself, and people who try to "one up" everybody, sooooo, if you want to know anything else just ask away. In the end.... just be yourself, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter, don't mind. Love your life. KMoore.GENERAL STUFF I CARE ABOUT..... I SEE MOST OF MY GOOD FRIENDS FROM BACK HOME ONCE A YEAR IF I'M LUCKY. AND I NEVER HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO SEE ALL OF THOSE FEW. SO PRETTY MUCH I MISS YOU ALL VERY MUCH, AND HOPE YOU ALL STAY SAFE SO WE CAN CHILL AGAIN WHEN THE TIME COMES. READ AND HEED SO IF YOU REMEMBER JUST ONE SENTENCE FROM BELOW THEN MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. I'M NO SAINT BUT AWARENESS IS HALF THE BATTLE.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace) -On average, one alcohol-related traffic accident occurs every 30 minutes ............................................................ ..................................-Alcohol contributes to 100,000 deaths annually, making it the third leading cause of preventable mortality in the United States after tobacco and diet/activity patterns ............................................................ .................................- According to recent alcoholism statistics, 79% of fatal crashes occurring from midnight to three in the morning involve alcohol. ............................................................ .................................-In 2002 an estimated 17,419 people died in alcohol-related traffic crashes. ............................................................ .................................-Weekends account for 54% of fatal crashes as compared to 32% during the week. ............................................................ ....................................-One person is injured in an alcohol related accident approximately every two minutes. ............................................................ .................................-Beer accounted for most of the alcohol related fatalities in traffic accidents. ............................................................ ...............................-30 % of Americans will be involved in an alcohol-related crash at some time in their lives....................................................... ...........................................-Accidents and suicides associated with alcohol problems are prominent during teen years. ............................................................ ....................................-53 percent of men and women in the United States report that one or more of their close relatives have a drinking problem. ............................................................ .................................-Almost three times as many men (9.8 million) as women (3.9 million) are problem drinkers. ............................................................ ................................-Although there are fewer deaths from alcohol related causes than from cancer or heart disease, alcohol related deaths tend to occur at much younger ages. ............................................................ ....................................-1/3 of alcoholism deaths are from suicides or accidents such as drownings, head injuries from falling, or car crashes. ............................................................ .................................-Two more research studies have emphasized the serious health effects of long-term heavy drinking, from an increased risk for having accidents to developing liver cancer. ............................................................ ..................................-An alcoholic or addict will significantly impact an average of 4-5 other lives (family, friends, associates, etc.) while under the influence of the disease. ............................................................ .................................-The odds of an alcoholic or addict quitting drinking or using alcohol "on their own" without professional help or regular recovery meetings is 1 in 50,000. ............................................................ ..................................-8.1 million people are alcoholic. ............................................................ ...............................

Books:

The Bible, Anything and everything by Nelson DeMille (Night Fall, Up Country) Amazing! Read them both twice. Mitch Albom (The Five People You Meet In Heaven, For One More Day, Tuesday's With Morrie) Three eye and heart openers. Michael Crichton (State of Fear) Real good. David Baldacci (Last Man Standing) They should make a movie of this one. Isaac Asimov (Caliban) have you seen I Robot? Based on this book. And the book is better. Tom Clancy (Rainbow Six) Uh... fuckin kickass! and Dan Brown's (Angels and Demons, The DaVinci Code, Digital Fortress, Deception Point) were all very very good. Also, Ben Stein wrote a great book entitled, "The Real Stars" which was pretty good too. Those are just a couple of my favorites etc etc... I enjoy it.

Heroes:

hero, n. pl. heroes- A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life: Yeah soo... no one comes to mind. Some close contenders though. Because he's my brother, and I'm an only child. I don't even need to say anything. EVERYBODY ELSE IS PRETTY SWEET TOO. SWEET ASS SWEET. DIABETIC.
